Safety is a huge concern when playing paintball. Without the proper protection, it’s very easy to cause serious injury or even permanent damage.
A paintball mask is required during all sanctioned events and should be worn at all times during the match.
We have tried dozens of different helmets over the years and most of them are not very good.
We only recommend two paintball goggles. One of the models below is worn by every member of my team and probably 90% of the players in my league.
They both come in 15+ color combinations, so you’ll easily be able to match with your team uniform.
Dye Precision I4 Thermal Paintball Goggle
This is the model every member of my team wears.
It’s an extremely light helmet that is 20% lighter than the previous model….the I3.
The lens change is super simple and can be changed in a matter of seconds.
It comes with the dye high definition thermal lens.
This helmet features really good ventilation which practically eliminates fogging.
The Dye I4 has a 290 degree view, which allows for a full peripheral view.
This is hands down the paintball goggles I recommend.
The Sly Profit is also a good paintball goggle that is extremely popular.
It features a dual pane thermal lens and is extremely easy to swap out.
Sly has four lenses available: Gradient Fade, Clear, Amber and Gradient Chrome
The profit has a double strap in the back which keeps the mask secure and provides a snug fit.
The only issue we’ve ever had with this product is that it tends to fog up from time to time.
Several members of our team started with this mask and then switched to the I4 once they tried it simply due to the fact that the I4 does not fog up.
